  18. My favorite high fantasy is The Name of The Wind by Patrick Rothfuss! But DON'T I repeat DON'T check it out because the author hasn't published the third installment yet and we don't know when he's going to publish it, so wait out until then before picking it up! It's agonizing!

  19. My favorite fantasy books are a toss up. I love Leigh Bardugo's Shadow & Bone trilogy, Sarah J. Maas's Throne of Glass series (so far!), and also Rae Carson's Fire & Thorns trilogy.

I've never really been big into fantasy books, but with books like these (and others I just haven't gotten around to reading yet), fantasy is becoming one of my typical genres to request and keep my eyes open for future releases. These ladies have opened up the fantasy genre to so many people who may not have given it a chance before.

  30. Definitely Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas!! Just the general kick-butt-ness of Celaena Sardothien is all I need in my life. If not, it's probably An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir!! I adore that novel and they signed her for a sequel! YAYYYY
