The End's Not Near, It's Here

I've started this post with several sentences, in several ways (funny, sincere, reflective, etc.), but it all comes back to this: Goodbye.

After 6 years, thousands of followers, thousands of books, hundreds of posts, dozens of friends, 10 book conferences, and countless blog tours ... it's all over now. And there's just no easy way to sum that up in a witty starter sentence. I've struggled over the last year with closing down the blog, but I always kept trying to find a new way to get myself hyped up again to blog.

The truth is, I don't think I have anything left to say. And that's OK.

When I started this blog in February of 2011, I had no idea where that insane road would lead. I figured I'd make a few friends, get some free books, and blogging would be a fun little hobby. I never imagined it would lead to a secondary career as an event planner, let alone the countless friendships and connections I've made.

It's been a crazy 6 years. I've seen bloggers come and go. I've seen friends get married, have babies, move away, graduate college, and start their adults lives. I've watched publicists and bloggers become authors. I've seen authors go from tiny little publishing houses to international fame. I've walked the halls of the major publishing houses in New York City. I've partied in basements and rooftops with my bookish friends. I've spoken on panels at events. I've worked as an event coordinator for several bookish organizations. I've traveled all over the US (which, for me, is pretty huge - I never really traveled before) for events and conferences.

Not bad for a girl who started this blog on a whim one winter.

If you've been part of my journey, thank you. I truly can't thank you enough. Thank you for commenting on a post. Entertaining me on twitter. Liking a photo on instagram. Sending me a DM or an email. Giving me a hug or a smile at an event. Or listening to me rant and ramble on any given platform.

Thank you to the incredible friends (bloggers, publicists, and authors) who rallied around me this past year when my life fell apart. Your support means the world to me.

Thank you for being here right now.

If you ever want to chat, feel free to slide into my DMs or shoot me an email. I'll be around.

  19. One more thing - the competition is yet to discover its potential for diversifying your paid search resources (read more about Google AdWords alternatives you need to know). Perfect for any marketers running campaigns for 'œimpulse buy' products or services. Learn Internet marketing and begin sharing your website, blog, squeeze page or affiliate links. But the time committed to affiliate marketing and creating great tutorials and YouTube videos was worth it… I work for myself, there is virtually no limit on how much I can make, my schedule is flexible, and I collect enough passive income to live the life I want. The criteria can be seen on SaaS and hosting affiliate programs which require recurring payment by the customer for using the service. This is an important part of building an effective affiliate marketing strategy because it allows you to see which affiliates work and which do not.

Similarly, there is the Flipkart affiliate program offering an extensive range of affiliate tools from simple banners and widgets to APIs, for listing products on an affiliate marketing website. You're earning a commission in exchange for giving readers valuable insights on products or services they were already thinking about purchasing. I have a quite extensive WordPress SEO guide and YouTube SEO guide - adding affiliate links to posts and video descriptions is easy, getting traffic is the hard part. Advertisers decide the commission rate, so your reputation and blog traffic could affect the quality of the deals you snatch. You place your special links on your website to show people where they can purchase your coffee makers. Theme - you don't need a special theme for affiliate marketing, you probably just need a blog.

Or, you can become an affiliate marketer for one or several products that you'd like to promote and market those to consumers, in order to make money. Thus, paid traffic emerges as a great option to attract more people to your contract and get to know your brand. The Overnight Freedom program is not like any other program you have come across before. Branding campaigns intended to get your business in front of a specific audience can do perfectly fine with microsites or with delivering traffic to the homepage. However, nowadays larger merchants use paid search campaigns, social media advertising along with multiple affiliate marketers to drive sales. If you're going to be running a lot of Facebook traffic to your app, then using their analytics is a no brainer. https://www.reviewengin.com/overnight-freedom-review/
