Blog Tour: Kiss of Broken Glass by Madeleine Kuderick

A few months ago I had the pleasure of reading KISS OF BROKEN GLASS by Madeleine Kuderick. Told in poignant and beautiful verse, this book surprised me with its vivid imagery and intensity. I am so excited to kick off this unique blog tour complete with a seriously awesome (and seriously secretive) giveaway from the fabulous folks at HarperCollins and HarperTeen.

Five questions. Five days. Dozens of ways to win. If you've read KISS OF BROKEN GLASS, you have a serious leg up on the competition.

So here is question #1:

Name the poem and poet Kenna is referring to when she says “I didn’t realize it back then, but I guess it’s kind of true what that poet said . . .”

About KISS OF BROKEN GLASS:

In the next 72 hours, Kenna may lose everything—her friends, her freedom, and maybe even herself. One kiss of the blade was all it took to get her sent to the psych ward for 72 hours. There she will face her addiction to cutting, though the outcome is far from certain.
In the ward, Kenna meets other kids like her—her roommate, Donya, who's there for her fifth time; the birdlike Skylar; and Jag, a boy cute enough to make her forget her problems . . . for a moment.

Madeleine Kuderick's gripping debut is a darkly beautiful and lyrical novel in verse, perfect for fans of Sonya Sones and Laurie Halse Anderson. Kiss of Broken Glass pulses with emotion and lingers long after the last page.
