Blog Tour & Giveaway: The Boy Next Door

Romantic Things to Do on a Winter Day
Go skating, of course! Outdoor pond skating, the kind where the ice is so rough and it's so snowy out that you don't even really skate, just sort of hobble along with your arms tucked around each other until you get cold enough to go warm up by a fire with cups of hot cocoa and a big fleecy blanket.

Go sledding! Nothing like an adrenaline rush to get your heart pounding in more than one way. Bonus points if there's trees near the bottom to force the kind of crash where you topple off the sled and conveniently onto each other. Plus you can also warm up together after, see above.

Make cookies. Powdered-sugar-smudged cheeks, admiring bicep & tricep muscles while your guy stirs the batter, feeding each other samples, licking the frosting spoon, and of course taking finished cookies to the fire with cocoa and a blanket after... (Yes, there's a pattern here. I might have a one track mind. I like to think that might be beneficial in my writing career.)

Have all of these been done before? Of course, but the real thing that makes a date special isn't where you go or what you do, right? It's about who you're with. So enjoy the snow-studded view but whatever you do, enjoy being with each other. :-)
